The Stories are True

2Timothy 3:16 (ESV)
All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness,
21% said they do not believe the Bible is accurate in all the principles it teaches.
41% said the Bible, the Koran (Qur’an) and the Book of Mormon are all different expressions of the same spiritual truths.
54% said they do not believe in absolute moral Truth. In other words, they believe Truth is relative.
Relativism says that Truth is true at a particular time and within a particular setting. In other words, it may be true now, but it may not have been true in the past and it may not be true in the future.
Relativism believes that Truth is always subject to change based upon the changing conditions around it. As humanity continues to evolve, become educated and enlightened and informed, Truth can/will change based upon what we know/learn/discover.
Relativism believes that Truth is only true if you choose to believe it’s true.
Relativism says that Truth is subject to the perspective and viewpoint of people. That it’s Truth based upon how I understand or interpret it.
Relativism states that Truth can be true to some people and not to others – based upon your culture, experience, personality, needs, intent, or motive.
John 14:6 (NLT)
Jesus said “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.”
John 1:1 & 14 (NIV)
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Hebrews 13:8 (NLT)
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
James 1:17 (NLT)
Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow.
Romans 1:20 (NLT)
For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God.
Psalm 19:1-2 (HCSB)
The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky proclaims the work of His hands. Day after day they pour out speech; night after night they communicate knowledge.
It doesn’t matter if you think Scripture is Truth or not. It doesn’t matter if you think it affects you or not. It was true when Adam and Eve lived in the Garden, it’s true today and it will be true a million years from now. It’s an unmovable, unchanging, permanent reality.
It’s important to understand that Truth is absolute and unmoving; otherwise, we’ll try to shift Truth to fit within our humanity. That means we’ll try to make Truth conform to:
Our emotions.
Our moral instincts.
Our intelligence and knowledge – which is very limited.
Our experiences – which are equally limited.
Instead of forcing Truth to conform to our emotions, intelligence, morals, and experiences – our emotions, intelligence, morals and experience must conform to and match Truth.
And not only is the Bible absolute; it is 100% accurate and is absolutely free from error and 100% accurate in historical facts, genealogies, science, accounts of Creation and in matters of faith and practice. It is exempt from the liability of mistake and incapable of error because God is incapable of mistake or error.

If IT says the road is narrow, then the road is narrow. Matthew 7:13-14
If IT says unless you forgive others you will not be forgiven, then you must forgive others to be forgiven. Matthew 6:14
