Takeaway from Today’s Message is This:

Seek not the ACCOLADES OF MEN….

Seek the APPROVAL OF GOD

“Holy Spirit wants to reveal, expose, and crush the spirit of worldly perfection that exists in our hearts and our minds”

Matthew 5: 48 – You be perfect even as your Heavenly Father is perfect…

This is not meant to have measure up to other people’s opinion

GOD does not want you to judge yourself by other people’s opinions

GOD wants you to care about and judge yourself by HIS opinion – you are beautifully and wonderfully made.

Merriam-Webster has four different definitions of DREAM

1: a series of thoughts, images, or emotions occurring during sleep (Pastor Kim in Week 2)

4: a strongly desired goal or purpose(Pastor Bill in Week 1)

God has known you since before you were born; and,

Before your parents were born; and

Before your parents great-great-great-great grandparents were born.

 Jeremiah 1:4-5

The word of the Lord came to me, saying,

  “Before I formed you in the womb I knewyou,
    before you were born I set you apart;
    I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”

Matthew 10:29-31

Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father’s care. And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.

GOD has a plan for each of us.

Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 

1 Peter 2:9

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

John 14:1-4

“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me.My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going.”

How long has your best friend known you?

Or the people you are looking to impress?

Or the people whose opinions you care so deeply about that you are willing to set aside the plan that GOD has for your life, and go with their plan for your life…

 Or worse yet….YOUR plan for your life

God had planted a seed in men like Noah, Moses, Daniel, David just to name a few….

That seed grows by FAITH

So what do we do….WE WALK BY FAITH AND NOT BY SIGHT like David, like Daniel, like Noah and like Moses.

Matthew 6:33

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Seek not the ACCOLADES OF MEN….

Seek the APPROVAL OF GOD

So that the DREAM GOD planted in you turns to

Reality and GOD’s will for your life is fulfilled
